how do you filter out bad sellers from getting great buyers on block list? often times true bad buyers but also quite often seller was at fault with dispute. this looks great on surface but looks like there is also room for abuse right here. those sellers that block good buyers out of revenge is going to hurt sellers as much if not more than the buyers.

I take the time to verify that the buyer in question has received one or more bad feedback reports from a seller.

Buyers should have ample opportunity to address their complaints through eBay. Some options are: Filing a not as described report, bad feedback and complaints through Paypal.

Unfortunately eBay has removed feedback as an option for sellers. It is also worth noting that eBay makes no effort at all to filter negative feedback posted.

After going on nine years swelling on Ebay here are my bad experience members. I suggest that sellers and buyers avoid these members at all cost:

this buyer owns an anitque shop. boughh 8 items, once received the items, requested to keep all of them while demanding a discount for 5 items, it is using negative feed back as blackmail. claimed one item was damaged in the post but refuse to send a photo to substantiate the claim (probably already sold on the item) this ebay buyer id is jrr0123 , buyer from hell.

it seems with the recessionary times buyers are more apt to leave negatives. just today we had a buyer leave two negatives for a purchase made recently. he called and we offered a full refund upon return of the items but he thought two negatives were cheaper than a $.44 stamp to return 2 embroidered patches he was dissatisfied with
the problem was they were not the same height but both were rocker patches to fit a 3 inch round patch as advertised one 1 inch and one 1/2 inch in height nowhere in ads were there any claim to height of patch and when called we cheerfully offered full refund
mr. bongo4040 should be on your blocked list if you sell biker (motorcycle)related items

I am listed on this page as a blocked buyer. I am tvodrome. Find me on ebay and email me there. I don't know who blocked me, as the buyer left an anonymous comment. I would like to know what the problem is. I am quite a reasonable buyer, I believe more reasonable than most. I have 100% positive feedback since I have started using ebay back in 2001. That is about ten years of 100% positive feedback, before the new ebay rules of no negative feedback for buyers. I am not a scammer. Having a brother who is a seller, and a friend who is a powerseller, I am very sensitive to seller issues. I try very hard to clearly communicate and contact any seller to avoid any possible issues. See all the feedback I've left for others. I have been very temperate in my feedback. I never try to nail a seller to the wall for my own amusement. In fact I've absorbed a few raw deals myself, yet if you look at the feedback I've left for sellers, I've never left a single negative feedback. I would never try to exploit another person or try to take something by force.
I invite the seller who finds fault with me to email me via ebay and try to work whatever this is out, despite apparently a year going by.
Please notice, the seller names me on a public internet forum, but decides to remain anonymous themself. That said, I would like to make peace and resolve the situation.

A quick check of tvodrome's feedback indicates no negative feedback given or received in approximately ten years.

all10ofusfriends is nasty. Admitted they shipped my stuff to another state, refunded my cash but then filed an unpaid claim against me and left negative comments after I gave them a neutral feedback score. Then they said they added me to this black list. sellitmk

hard site to read. make bigger font, wider better use of screen, better colors...i hope you listen.

On to the worst buyer yet on ebay. 2prophetic His id should be 2pathetic.

He has a shop in northern calif where he sells games. He buys games on ebay, and leaves neg fb saying item scratched without even contacting seller. He does this so ebay cant say he is extorting refunds, when the seller simply offers refund without him having to return the item.

check this out:

thanks for the site, but make it more user friendly.

I want to report a bad seller. His id is goodtimebob. My mother tried to purchase a pin from him, he claimed she was on a blacklist for buyers, and cancelled her winning bid. (Side note, this pin was a replacement for one a granddaughter had lost) My sister-in-law tried to purchase the same pin from him, and he fired a message to her claiming that she was part of a scam ring. She refused to accept the cancellation until he issued the refund. (Nothing had been shipped yet.) He called my 67 year old mother, harassed her, and threatened to call the authorities, claiming he had worked in security for too long, and knew a scammer when he saw one. Now he has posted on the item's description:"For the time being I have had to stop shipping to South Dakota. A gang of thieves, using multiple Ebay accounts, is operating out of there and ripping off Ebay sellers. The authorities have been notified and they should soon be dealt with." What is to be done? My mother's id is swiftmom, if you want to check her feedback. Is there anything we can do? This guy is insane, slandering people, calling Canadians and Arabs scammers. Seriously Ebay? My mother is actually afraid to file a claim against him. Does anyone have any suggestions?

eBay what a nightmare. Sold a set of books, all in excellent Like New condition. Buyer emailed that books were Not Like New (first lie). Requested $6.50 refund (on a $9.95 sale) "then you won't have to go thru the trouble of relisting". signed "Cheerio". I requested return of books. Before day was over, she emailed to say books were in the mail. I requested the tracking number. She said I never told her to add a tracking number... I requested a Post Office receipt. She said her Post Office does not give receipts... This went back and forth for the entire 45 days. In the end, eBay resolved by returning her payment+shipping. Of course, the books never arrive (cause they were never returned). What a scam... eBay did not charge my account, however, this buyer continues to buy (and probably cheat). Beware of Melinda, ID: 2007mthough.

Since this sale I have had 4 non-paying bidders from the same general geographic location as this buyer... The wench has me targeted and is ruining what was a decent side business.

A 5th buyer (same location) claimed "item not as described". Claimed I sent only 4 kids books (instead of 18) and 4 adult vampire books. Threatened negative feedback. I requested return of books with tracking. She did return the books: vampire books I never owned or heard of and the 4 kids books were so badly damaged, they could possibly have been mine. I had to refund or get negative. Wish I could show in her feedback what a scammer she is. Buyer ID: bussja

I guess my only recourse is to change my ID and start over. Cause the list of non-payers continues to grow...

This week I have had 4 non-payers (mostly New York). ccopper2012, beachwarmer1995, ankasbeauties9, educ8rs.

So many scam buyers and no recourse. Giving strikes is NOT working. Sellers have no way of knowing who or what they are dealing with. I just may have to give Amazon a try...

bs20102010 - This buyer is one you need to block. I don't want to discuss the details of the case, but I can assure you after selling on eBay all these years I've never encountered a buyer like this. I have literally thousands of feedbacks and sales under my belt. I also have a friend who has over 4000 feedbacks under her belt on eBay as a seller. She read all the things bs20102010 said on the dispute and is aware of how this person handled the transaction. Even my friend who sells exclusively on eBay with over 4,000+ sales under her belt said she never encountered a buyer such as bs20102010 and has blocked that buyer as well. Even the guy who works at eBay in resolution dept. said he was going to mark her account as a "high-risk seller." What more can I say? Trust me, save yourself a big hassle and block this person.

Avoid this monster: badboyjim69

He will do everything he can to get your item for free and then leave you negative feedback. He lies like crazy.

Anonymous said...

Watch out for this one...

novafastmotors

Will try and get you to give him money, claim SNAD, without opening a claim! Make sure to go through the Resolution Center, eBay knows him! He plays the system and you will win!

This is another scammer, will try claiming that item was not received even though tracking shows delivered! Make sure you fight, you will win!

Interesting to see community board users on this list simply because some people do not like them. Kind of shows what is wrong with the idea of a "bad eBayer" list and why a posting ID is a good idea.

2013domenicorib this buyer has tried claiming, on two separate transaction, that they didn't receive my items. They wait several months, just long enough for the tracking number to become invalid and for the transaction to no longer be in eBay, and then file a case in Paypal. I'll be filing a consumer protection case. This is clearly a scam that Paypal/ebay don't care about.
